We stayed here as it was centrally located for us to do the Durango/Silverton train and visit the surrounding areas. The condo area is beautiful and the village shopping and things to do were very nice. Access to the room requires a room key which provides a higher level of security. The living room and dining area were spacious and comfortable. The bedroom was spacious. There was good storage space, a washer/dryer and nice kitchen accessories.

Directions were inadequate and the name on the building was different than our reservations. Parking was very inadequate and frustrating. The bathroom area with the commode and shower was very small and the shower had mold/mildew in the grout of the tiles in all corners. There was no light in the shower and it was dark when the door was closed. The bed was springy/bouncy and moved every time one of us moved so our sleep was very interrupted and uncomfortable. They need to put in better mattresses and redo their showers so they are at least clean. A redesign of the bathroom area would be in order when they upgrade the condo. We would probably check around for other lodging if back in the area again.

I liked that it was in the mountains and peaceful. It was very comfortable but of course I prefer a hard mattress. The mattress was very soft but I realize that you can not accommodate all the needs. Loved it.Jane

The scenery was just beautiful!! I rooms were very clean. It is a beautiful resort!

The elevator was not working when we arrived. We had to take the stairs and that was very hard because I am handicap. We did inform the front desk and they had it working within the hour. Also any time I tried to call a restaurant no one answered. I did call during the restaurants business hours also. I finally gave up. I do not think they had enough people working the weekend we went. However we still enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

I didn't have to drive anywhere after a Music in the Mountains performance.

The check in area was not marked at all and we had to spend too much time asking around and walking around to find how to check in. It's a basic that must be improved. Very frustrating, and I know the area...ski there all the time...

Our room was very nice, but it would have been nice to have a chair.

It was the first time I had ski in ski out, so I really liked that. I had a fire place in the room and a balcony. This was a resort with numerous restaurants and bars. The room also had a full kitchen with all of the utencils. This was a great vacation for me.

Although the apartment could use a few updates (doors are worn), the apartment is very comfortable, spacious and roomy. The lighting in the bedroom is lacking and the light switches were confusing. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. We were disappointed to find out after we arrived that it was the off season and the bar and many shops were closed. We had to drive almost to Durango to get some food and beverages.

Think it would be lovely during ski season but for us it was too far into durango and shopping, food. All the restaurants at lodge closed til week-end. Nobody around.
